Repair Manual - LT500 Zilla
#1
Hey guys,
My zilla is needing engine work. Now, If i lived in the US, I woulda sent this off by now to be fixed by a mechanic in a shop. But, unfortunately, I live in australia, where ever bastard mechanic will drill you for every cent you have!! The Labour they charge is a joke! I have rebuilt all sorts of engines before but with the aid of a repair manual.
Can any fellow Zilla rider tell what they think is a decent repair manual for the LT500? Ive checked local bookstores and moto - x stores and they cant source one. What is the Suzuki Owners manual like? Is that any help with the nitty-gritty of engine rebuilding?
Also one shop thought that the '87 LT500 engine is exactly the same as the '87 RM500 engine and i should be able to use that manual. Is this true?
