I would take a 250R over a zilla any day...

A beefed up 250r is better than a 500 in every way, but drag racing...It handles nicely..the zilla handles like crap...

i wouldnt say i handles like crap at all. its no MXer but my 500s whip around the trails at the dunes just as fast or faster than any 250r LT or banshee.

YFZBLU... Just how many QUADZILLAS have you ridden to know this "self inspired fact"?
The way Jarimieh Jones was talkin the other night on the tv show reminising about the trx250r
was that he always had to "man handle it" and" it never got enough traction out of the turns"
so I would say that from what I heard out a "pro racer" about the trx250r is that it wasn't much
pleasure, but a chore to race on the mx track. Don't blame me for what a "pro racer"
commented about handling the trx, I just listened and now I'm forwarding the message.

lol If you don't think for yourself, then I suppose taking someone's opinion too seriously is ok...Just because one guy didn't like it, doesn't mean it doesn't handle. True, the lt500 was made for mx in 87...But it is no MX'er...If i was drag racing, id choose the 500 over anything...But I don't...so it doesn't appeal to me.

BTW...My brother owns 2 fully restored 500's for whoever asked...I ride them often. Crazy fast bikes

My first quad was an 86 4 trax 250r,I didn't have to manhandle it in corner's,and I thought it got good traction. What I hated about it was when jumping, then the manhandling came in effect.Dang thing alway's nose dived,no matter how far back I was on the thing. When I got the Zilla no problem's with nose diving, felt like landing on a pillow, the landing was not as rough. The Zilla didn't make the MX racing long cuz of the power, speed and it's width plus it's wide turning radius.
