I just bought a LT250 and I need some info on it.....what happened to the site?!?! Quadracer.com It's not complete????

That's the problem, I can't read the number. It has the "T" shaped seat, but it also has the reeds in the crankcase, so I'm guessing I've got a 85/86 with newer plastic on it.

Guido now rides a YFZ so you might have better finding him luck in the Yami forum.
Measure the front shocks - 12 1/2" for 85-86, 15" for 87 and up. The 85-86 swingarm has a round bearing carrier and the newer LT have a square one. The older ones have 5 speeds, the newer ones have 6. The 87 and up has a small window on the right side of the engine to see if the powervalve is operating, the 85-86 does not have a powervalve. The 85-86 has '249 cc' cast into the jug, I think the 87 and up jug has '246 cc' on it. Here are additional specs for the later LT's.
