There was no '99 ZR1 Corvette. The ZR1 had a 32 valve LT5 motor making 405hp, they were made from 1990 to 1995 only.

Thank you VINSON581 !!!! Thank god someone will stand up to the plate and say somethin
about where I am comin from !! I was just sayin that my friend had a LT230 and won
a radio contest and got $1,000.00 dumpped it all in the motor, cause he used to ice race,
sent it out to Duncan and they did a impressive job on the motor. The bike had power beyond
what I'd ever think it would. It wasn't me who did this, but then I asked what mods people thought
would be good for the trx250x that I can do to make it "better than stock", ya know better
torque, & power over the stock form. This guy Duneaddict goes out swinging saying it's
impossible for that to happen, theres no way, etc. Well I'm sorry but don't be talkin crap to me about something thats absolute false, and tryin to make me look like a fricken retard about
it. Cause I'm not gonna let you get off that easy. I like the 2strokes as well but , I'm feelin
a hell of alot more comfy sittin on a 4 stroke and not havin to worry about if the next trip out in the
woods is gonna be a hassle, foulin plugs or top end probs. Nope not me I'll stick with somethin
thats a sure thing I can depend on. I think they hate me cause I got a 4 stroke and gave up on
the 2 stroke rockets. I'm still the same person, just a different machine altogether.

Ya know VINSON581 .... I really appreciate you pretty much comin to bat for me, true there
are 2 strokes that don't have much of a problem, but there are alot more 4 strokes out there
that have no worries.

Nah they dont hate you because you gave up on 2 strokes, they just dont appreciate some of your statements...You obviously had no business being on a 2 stroke to begin with, you talked about fouling plugs all the time, well i have been riding 2 strokes for 15 years now and have fouled a grand total of 2 plugs to date.Plug fouling occurs 95% of the time because of wrong jetting, engine failures happen 95% of the time for the same reason, if jetted correctly 2 strokes engines are extremely reliable in stock form, they are still very very reliable when heavily modded if the mods have been performed by a competent person and you are running the parts that match the new improved power. As for the maintenance part outside of changing pistons and rings once a year (this one i would call preventive maintenance and in most cases not really needed) it is no different than what you will have to perform on any other sport ATV on the market.

I never suffered any engine break downs during hundreds of trail rides with either my old LT250r or my current Banshee.I have blown 3 engines so far and all these failures were due to rider error (went crazy on the jetting and was running way too lean) I blame it on my never ending crave for more power. Of course if you think you are going to buy a beat up 15 years old ATV, poor some gas/oil in it and ride expecting it to never fail on you then you are right they are unreliable, although we have a few "old" 4 strokes Honda 400EXs around here that I wouldnt want my life to depend on...Like anything that has been beat up for that long it will need a complete makeover if you want to obtain great reliabilty out of it.

Personnally i cant careless what you ride, just dont come on here spewing BS like "two strokes break down all the time" or "two strokes foul plugs all the time", dont assume because you werent up to the task that we are all in the same boat thats all.

I think you've made yourself look pretty retarded without my help. absolutley false? I hardly think so.
a turd is a turd, no matter how much you polish it.

Well said Imback! That's the point I've been trying to get across to this mental midget.

I think you might have misunderstood my point... 10+ y/o thumpers are less than impressive, no matter how much $$ you pile into them... There is some good stuff being produced today... The YFZ is damn impressive for a thumper.

Thank you ! 1987lt230, This stuff is what I want to know...NOT "IT'S IMPOSSIBLE" &" IT'S A TURD".
I wasn't sure if there was different options out there, other than the usual stuff to do.
So what cam should I go with or has a good reputation for performance? So I should be all set in this area of performance mods after I do as you recomended ? Thank you again !
