Default king quad steering knuckle

I have a 2002 king quad lt350 with 700 miles on it,a few weeks ago my granddaughter was riding it & wrecked on it.when it got back home I discovered the right front steering knickle had broken-the cast iron part-the tie rod bent & the cv boot was destroyed, has anybody else had any problems with the cast iron steering knuckle breaking on these machines.seems to me the tie rod should have broken before the cast piece.i think it is a manufacturing falure.iwould like to hear from antbody about how to address suzuki about this.it is very dangerous if this happened in a bad place-thanks

nope never had that problem, the kq is a 300, if you have a the LT-F4WD it's a 246 cc and if you have theLT-F4WDX it's a 280 cc with an oil cooler.

Sounds like she hit something. Cast is stronger but is more brittle. Other metals might bend first.
