Ihave a 2003 ltz 400, just changed the oil again for the 4th time, in the bottom of the oil pan I found a washer this time, I can,t remember if it is to my Z400 drain plug or from a lawnmower job....does anyone know if a washer is suppose to be on the plug???? thankyou in advance.

 

i dont have any washers on my drain plug. it must be from somewhere else on ur z or from another machine

 

Any quad I've owned has had a washer on the oil drain plug. Is it the same size diameter as the bottom of the drain bolt head? See how it fits on the drain plug.
