Default Z400 air/fuel adjustment

Where exactly is this little bugger that has seem to have evaided me?

What does it look like?

Is it inside the carb or outside?

I'm attempting to rejet my carb after a K&N install but this is the only object that I have failed to identify.

if your talking about the air screw?? its on the under side of the carb {front} if your bike came from calf? there will be a brass plug in it all the other bikes had rubber plugs in them,

The dealer failed to tell me if the bike was from Calif.

There are 2 holes on the underside front of the float bowl and one of them does have a brass plug in it.

If this is it then how do I go about getting that plug out so that I can adjust it?
