Default Vinson grease question.

My vinson squeaks when I turn the handlebars. My service manual says to grease the steering stem regularly, but I do not see any grease fitting. Am I missing something or do I have to disassemble the steering stem? I can not find any grease fitting anywhere. Any help appreciated!

Default Vinson grease question.

just spray some wd-40 or other penetration lube, in the top bushing by the handle bars, dont take the stem out, you have to remove all the body plastics, and all the other stuff.

Default Vinson grease question.

well lets just say is was the single best purchase i ever made, to me it is the best, and definently most reliable.

locker wasnt too bad to install, and it still use the stock 4x4-2x4 pushbutton on the bars(and you can still use 2wd)

top speed stock is 63-64 i have gotten mine in low 70s

the vinson can do wheelies, espacially the 5spd, the big tires do not help tho

The best thing I found to lube them hard spots is a spray lithium grease. It works its way into tight areas, then thickens ups. I have the 5speed and it does wheelie. check out my pic's

Default Vinson grease question.

Thanks for the info guys! I must say that I am really glad I bought the Vinson. Great power, handling and reliability. I can't see myself on another quad.
