Reg. manuel. Its a great all around machine. The only thing the EX has over the Z/DVX/KFX is reliability.

ok, I just noticed that in 2 of my mags (atv rider and dirt wheels) the atv rider says the Z400 is manual clutch and my Dirt Wheels Mag says that the Z400 is auto clutch

which is it?

dude it HAS a clutch lever that YOU control. It won't idle unless that lever is pulled in. Just like a manual car transmission. The rear brake is under your right foot only.

there does that help?!?

P.S.
Didnt mean to sound like a smarta$$

Dude your bike is damn sweet! I would like it better if it was white though.

speed is great....jetting and a pipe make it better in the top end and a little quicker in the mid range....its pretty good on trials....but if u have tight trails, about 6 inches of clearence on each side..it isnt the best...the turning radius is a bit small and u have to slide into turns to make tight corners....very impressed with the performance of my 04 Z, and wuld reccomend it. By the way i am pretty sure on the 2005's they made the turning radius larger and the suspension a little bit stiffer, but still giving adjustments in both ways
