Default sproket shaft leak

Just put in a new one because mine was leaking. Now it leaks even worse, Dumped fluid on the chain and now its all over, Seemed like a good fit, why wont this thing seal?

Also, as of yesterday, i noticed i now have a coolant leak. seems like it is dripping from the case on the right side (rear brake side) Is this a common gasket failure? It never leaked before, i was at Byron yesterday trying out the new 12T sproket, and then it started dripping. By the way the 12 was outstanding on the motorcross track , pulled up the hills so hard at times i could barely hold on

the coolant leak is probably your mechanical seal for your waterpump, that is, if it's leaking out of the weep hole. not sure what the problem is with the shifter seal. did u split the case to do it?

the reason the seal is leaking more is because you didnt change th steel race thats on the shaft and your old one probaly has a groovce worn in it and yes your water pump is fubard

you mean that thick steel spacer? the one that just pushes back in, directly behind the sproket?
