Well stock is 14/40 I believe. If you're going out to the dunes, I'd recommend gearing down one tooth in the front to a 13. I'm heading back to silver lake for the second time this year on my Z. It was awesome, but the bike didn't have the power to get into fifth gear really. Gearing down should help me out a little bit there and all around. I'll probably put it back to a 14 once I get back and do woods/trail riding again.

You'll lose some top end, but chances are with 14/39 you wouldn't even get to that high of a speed anyways.

ive heard geckos suck, but when i went to silver lake they were the most popular paddles there almost everyone was running them. the rest were mostly running sand stars

haulers are the only way to go. On our Z we went from 20'' sand devils to 21x12x8 9 paddle haulers and picled up probably 4 bike lengths
