LT230E clutch conversion to manual
#11
The motor is a total basket case I bought with a parts bike. It lost the main bearings and one logded in, and ruined the 3rd gear in the transmission. I'm pretty sure I have all of the parts for it. If you did this, it'd be likely that you could swap over to a kickstart as a backup, and delete the pull start. This would narrow the motor up a bit. The manual clutch also takes up less space. This means you have the option of running the Quadsport fold up pegs.

yeah, that would be a bonus too, i wouldn't mind the kickstart instead of the pull start, we'll see what happens try to get all the info for me, and we'll go from there

If you look in my photos you will see that the motors are very different. I am doubtful, although I didn't take any measurements. A bolt in swap doesn't look likely. It is still possible to make the centrifugal clutch disengauge like a manual.

ok, so things are a bit more complicated than i suspected. thanks anyhow, i guess i'm gonna have to try to just get fibers and see if that helps my problem with the slipping. otherwise i'm lost. thanks again
