I have only owned one atv and it was an Arctic cat 400 4x4. It was an awsome atv in the trails and mud but I sold it last month because I have to many bills. Anyway, I like the 4x4 bikes but think I want a sport bike this time because they look more fun! I like the Z 400 but think I will wait for the 05 model reviews. I would like to know what you like and don't like about your Z? Any mechanical problems? How about the new modes? Should I get the 05 or the 04? I was also thinking about getting a used yamaha

yea, and if you get one, since youve only owned a 4x4 youll probly have to learn how to use a manual clutch

 

You should buy that 05 you don't need to wait till reviews it has had them all done before any way the only thing they changed was the shocks and any way it is a good quad all around.

 

i like mine and its a great machine....ive only had one prob and that was the stock fuel petcock went bad on me...other then that ive put about 60 hrs on it so far with no other probs....i would prolly buy it again just because it fits me good and it has reverse.....if i didn't need reverse id be riding a yfz450 right now

 

get the Z great quad and fun to ride

the Z is a great quad its fast, reliable, and responds well to mods.

 

I only rode 4x4 quads before. My z was a great first sport bike. Once I got the hang of riding it I started bolting stuff on. Now I want to do more work to it in the future. The only problem I have had was the fan went bad once. Other than that it has been a great bike. I would highly recommend it.
