i really wanted to aquire some sort of race worthy bike in the next few mounths, i am a die hard suzuki fan, but the yfz is o so sweet, are all the rumors of the 450 true, i know what it might have, and motor and all so no need to try and tell me about the features, the bottom line is, is there going to be a z-450 in the near feuture?

noone knows for sure, well have ot wait and see, and if they do release one, it wont be for awhile, so just get the YFZ

thanks guys, thats what i thought but i am like a suzuki loyalist, lol. but i do have to say yammis are just as nice, and are very durable, now whats the otd price of one of these yfz's just a regular one, being it will prolly be getting the racing treatment.

 

only reason i didn't get a yfz450 was cuz i don't strictly race and needed a machine for the woods with reverse....for the price depends if you want an 04 or 05

list on the 05 is 6900....out of curiosity i looked at picking up one as a 2nd quad and best the dealer would do was 6300 OTD
he had several 04's left over for 5800 OTD

another option is the honda 450r but the lack of electric start and not feeling as comfortable to me left it out of my thoughts for being a 2nd atv

 

HONDA is out i dont like em and never will, i also like the 400 but the lack of power and suspension is leading me to a yfz, i really like the z400, and if it can still be competitive, then i would consider it, i would like to race from time to time, but still be able to take her in the woods, the lack of reverse isnt an issue, my buddies blaster doesnt have it and you can just pick her up and manhandle it.

YFZ is a racing bike.so if you plan to race get it and you will love it.have you given the 05 Polaris Predator any thought?it is a very nice quad.has good suspension,reverse,and they tuned it out more for 05.if i wanted a woods racer this would be my choice.im eagier to see info on the z450 in the future.dont feel bad,im a die hard suzuki fan to.i went riding last sunday with 6 buddies and they ALL had hondas.only one that can beat me is the CR250.lol
