Well known fact?

Where the heck do you get your facts from?

Well it would seem to me that the suki drive system is thought ot be a very good one and I believe that it is. However the belt life behind a big bore quad has yet to be seen. The smaller motors are dealing with less TQ and HP than the big bore motors put out . I would also agree that of all the belt drives I have owned the yamaha's have been the one of the best, my old kodiac 400 is still running its original belt, my buddy that has it now, has never had the cover off, However it only has about 900 miles on it last time I checked and it is only a 400. I did not have my grizz long enough to say how long its belts last with a big bore engine, but logic tells me that the belt on the grizz would not last as long as the kodiac's, do to the added stress that a big bore puts on a drive system.Just IMO its that extra power we all love so much that takes its toll on the prarrie belts a little quicker than some of the others, I do not remember hearing about any complaints about the P360 or the mules belt drives.

Yes, the Kawi's can last just as long. I'm not trying to say they won't. You guys are checking deflection and belt tension every now and then though. Not so with the Zuki/Yamahammers. There's no need to get defensive, this is not a diss of the Kawasaki machines. I would gladly take one over the Rubicon any day of the week for the type of riding I do.
