Sand Paddles for 2004- 250 Quadsport

I have a 2004 Quadsport and I am wanting to know what is the best kind of paddle without bogging it down? Would getting a 7 to an 8 paddle make a difference?

Sand Paddles for 2004- 250 Quadsport

The geckos are good but they are heavier than most paddles and rob horsepower!!! would reccomend something else for a 250!!
