Leave the rear alone for now. Get a 13 front and see how that does for you.

13/42 is the hot setup where you can have long straight aways ,when I go to dunes I cant pull the 13/42 setup and I go back to the 12/42 setup so I can actually use 6th in the dunes.

i agree with kdog i do the exact same thing or else sixth is a bog in dunes...but in a straight away it zipsssssssssssssss.

what about for mx/fast trails with a fully ported n polished, etc engine? I already ordered a 13/42 setup, and i think it will pull just fine, but do you think i will be more happy with a 12?

personally i like the 12 on fast tight trails/mx seeings i prefer bottom end in those situations vs top end. also im guessing but it takes like 3/4 - 1 mile for me to top out on the 13 tooth where u get that in trails or mx?
