I think you may be able to do it with a Visa. They are aytomatically covered against online fraud. I don't think you have to give your SSN. You won't need to give out a checking account # if you already have paypal, I assume.

 

i already have paypal, and buy alot of stuff on ebay.

but when i go to sell item,

it wants me to put in all the info, then to the credit card page,(ok fine i am useing visa) and then to another next page that want me to verify my id, by useing my checking account, i dont like this idea, or useing verisign(5$) and giving my driver lic, and ssn.

Hmmm..???.....I buy and sell LOTS O' Stuff on the 'Bay, and I can't remember having any trouble like you have mentioned.

I have been buying and selling there for almost 2 years now, and I haven't had to enter my DL or SSN. I am a "Premier Member", so that may have a lot to do with it.

Right now, I have 15 items listed on eBay......Playstation games, various apparel items, a THOR helmet, leather sportbike jackets, and a ZX-10.......and I didn't have to input any of the info you mentioned.

Wish I could have helped more..........
