today my cousin and i were at a friends house when we were leaving my cousins suzukis trottle stuck. the bike got smashed up a bit. this isnt the first time because 2 weeks ago my cousin let a friend drive it and the gas stuck. my cousin just bought this bike about a month ago and he bought it used. what would be the problem. by the way its a 2003 suzuki 400. ive heard these bikes had problems but not this one.

Usually the cable is dry or rusty, and itll hang up...try flushing some lube thru the throttle cable. This is why kill switches are on the handle bars, so shutting it down is just a thumb flick away.
