bah i bought nerfs, i hate them. im taking them off as soon as i get my bike back, they just get in the way

 

If you are doing anything besides duning and dragging you will regret that decision.

Nerfs are required for most types of ama racing, and there is a perfectly good reason for that.

 

I guess live and learn, i hate them i have yet to fall on them, so i will take them off cause they are bent to crap, from friends stepping on the trying to ride my bike cause they are morons.

Just rember there not a step, just a safty feture incase you fall.

 

I have a dozen screws and a 8 inch titanium plate cause i waited to put my nerf bars on, like was said above, i hit a jump and when i landed my foot fell off and went under the back wheel, wasnt pretty. My nerfs are going on as soon as i start riding again.

WOW! With that said. Id rather be safe than sorry. I am weekend warrior but I do like to push the envelope and have fun. I am going to purchase the dg nerf tonight when I get home.

rocky mountain carries the nerf nets...i am planning on buyin me a set for my junk'd out steel nerfs cause i dont have enough money to but nice aluminum ones...although i will say my steel ones CAN be a step, they are quite strong.

 

nerf bars are like nice **** on a woman. you dont need them. they look good. and everyone wants them. so yeah i would get them what the hell

 

Guess what. my friend was riding and hit a telephone pole, side on, slid out. The nerfs saved him MEGA $$$. insted of wraping the frame around the pole, it hit his nerf bar, and the bar just craked. i would get em no matter what. worth the $$. just get the basic 150$ ones from DG.
