Alba makes a really nice set that has built in heal guards!
The Alba set is also the ONLY true 'Bolt-on' type, that requires no drilling of any type. They are designed speciffically for the Z400
http://alba.buyol.com/Virtual/Virtua...ocess_Mode=ADD
Check em out. They are only $169.99
When i get nerf's that what i will get..

Again i have not installed any, but from what i have read about several different one's, every one required drilling.

This is quoted from the Suzuki Factory Nerf Bar's Installation..
"The nerfs come with templates for drilling your foot pegs." ... "Attach the nerf bars through the newly drilled holes in the foot pegs.
" ... "The front of the nerfs attach with a cross bar and a couple of u-bolts around the frame."
That is the drilling i was refering to. There have been atleast 2 other brands of nerf bars that i have read similar installation instructions..
*Shrug* This is just the information i have read.

*Shrug* My only point was that the Alba Nerf's say you don't need to drill ANYTHING. I am pretty sure from what i have seen the Alba's don't mount to the peg's at all.
1/2 a dozen one or the other. The Alba's are nice though, because they come with a built in heel guard.
