gearing change for the Z400?

Default gearing change for the Z400?
hey guys I was wondering on changing my front sprocket for trails. It seems that its always reving out in 2nd or bogging in 3rd. Is a 14 tooth stock and would a 13 help this problem? Thanks for any help

14 is stock i put 13 on mine and love it...

So that helps with bottem end? Do you loose much top end, or can you hardly tell a difference with the top end speeds?

it helps the bottem but u will lose a little top speed mabe 2 to 4 mph ...

hey BURKEDADDY, how acurate is that z400 calc? also at the top if i added 1000 RPM's would that just count as adding a new aftermarket hi rev cdi box?

not sure about the z but it seems to be right for the raptor.
