Default I am getting prototype AXELS!!!!

i talked to a guy named dan at cv restoration, and we got into speaking about a new style of cv axels, that would be the next generation. we have all seen gorilla, but i for one dont want to deal with grinding the hubs to make them fit.

instead me and dan had the idea of making a floating or sliding cv joint, for the inner and outer of the axel. The prototype he is going to send me in a mounth should be stronger than a gorilla and be able to go from a stock ride height to lifts of 6" or more without breaking anything.

I am going to send him a axel to work with, and he is then going to send me back several prototypes, and if the axels can withstand the beating that i am going to put them through he is going to make a final set, and then market them to the major distributors.

All i can say for sure now is that they are going to be cheaper than gorilla and stock, and have 2x the strength and extension of a gorilla axel.

The vinson is going to be the first bike with these axels. over the next few mounths i will be testing these extensively and leaving feedback for everone.

all bikes from the 80+++ are going to follow, and this is a better alternative to a non brakeable axel that wont leave you stranded

every part will be made out of cromolly, which is extreamly strong material.

i will have information as soon as i hear anything myself.
