Hey all, have a question and this seems to be the place to come [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] I'm still restoring my 87 and am looking for a reed/reed cage. My buddy has a few 250rs and said the V Force 2 is the way to go. Well, my local parts hook up said that they couldn't find anything for the '87 except boysen reeds, no aftermarket cages at all. What are my options? I don't need anything crazy, slightly bored, slightly ported, fmf fatty pipe, and probably even a stock carb for now. Thanks.

hey zuk, i never told ya but remember how you offered to sell me those reeds when i bought the itres off ya? I said no cause mine is a 89, well i pulled it apart recently to change reeds, someone had replaced my jug with a 87 jug, i should have gotten those off of ya... lol

haha...sounds like me...mine was listed in the paper as an 87, and when i got it i went to check the reeds and realized something didnt look right. I thought that maybe someone just put an 87 jug on it, but i checked all the numbers to soon find that i actually have an 88...
