antifreeze leak

Default antifreeze leak

under the part of the engine where the radiator hose goes into the engine, is there a screw on the bottom of it, cuz mine has a hole that looks like a screw should fit in and im leakin antifreeze out of it

yes there is a drain plug there........a little further in is a weep hole,if that is leaking then you have a bad impeller shaft seal.

thats a weap hole. and what minnrider said its impeller seal. the bolt holding impeller it left handed thread.

Default antifreeze leak

If your ever at a race and it start's to leak you can (for a quick fix)plug it with a piece of a stick.The wood will swell after it get's wet a seal it tight and it won't hurt the engine.I did that at Silver Lake one year so I could finish the race and it worked great.

Water pump impeller seal for a Zilla is what you need to order.

i went to dealer i think it was 13 bux for impeller and outside seal and spring. pull pump cover off and replace the old with new . rem left handed threads on impeller.

today i went out to look at it again, and now, its not leaking..., im probly going to replace the seal anyway. but why would it all of a sudden stop?
