Default Ltz400 vs 450R on trails

im looking into buying a new quad and i was wondering which one is better on the trails??

z for general fast trail riding. 450r for the extremley fast trail rider

Depends on your definition of better. If you need reverse and electric start then you might want to lean towards the Z400. Also the Z will be a little less maintenance and probably a little more reliable. If you are a speed and handling junkie and could care less about electric start (the TRX starts really really easily) then the TRX450r would be a better choice. I personally chose the TRX450r. It rips. It is super easy to kick over and generally you can change engine and trans oil in or around 30 minutes. If you are thinking about racing...get the 450r.

I like the Z for trail riding. having the electric start and reverse has helped me a bunch
when you get in tight places

i think reverse is a must for all quads, especially in trails when your in a jam (knee deep) and dont wanna keep going,,,, why do they even make em w/o reverse anymore? do you save weight?

I have a Z and couldn't be happier. It easily beats the 450R on the trails.

for trails, get the Z4, the 450R is good on trails as well, but you just cant beat the luxury of reverse in tight trails.......
