Default Z400 reverse sensor stuck on

well went on a ride today rode for about 15 miles with no problems on my z400, earlier in the week riding noticed when i would change into 1st out of reverse that the reverse light would stay on a couple extra seconds and not turn off until i put it in gear. well at the mid day point after the 15miles of ridding today i start my quad back up to find that the light now stays on for reverse, meaning that the rev limiter stays on it all gears. When in the process of trying to find out what was going on the quad went dead without anyone touching anything. I removed the seat to check fuses and notice under the seat right near the tool box compartment that the 20amp fuse was blown. i replace the fuse and turned the quad on again and the fuses blew again within a min. i have no idea whats going on, anyone have any ideas before i goto my dealer and get rapped on labor costs????

Something's gotta be grounding out. Check all the wiring related to the particular part, and I would also pick up a multimeter and start testing your whole elctrical system, just in case.
