Default LT230 E Backfires

Hello everyone,

I just had my top end bored over .40 and a new DG Exhaust installed as well. I am getting air bubbles between the cylinder head and the cylinder as well as a distinct backfire or popping sound. Before I flip on the shop I figured I would see if there was some advice here first. Any help????? Thanks!!!

Thanks for the reply! The carb was a new old stock carb that I bought and they just cleaned up a bit. There was no mention of rejetting it to make it work properly with the oversize piston or new exhaust.
