Default Should I get wheel spacers?

I want to make the handling a little better around the turns but don't want to spend an arm and a leg fro extended a arms and axle. So will spacers help out at all or is that not worth it? I've seen some where you can get them anywhere from 1 inch to 3 inches. I'd really want to know before I got out and by some.

from what i understand, they cause premature wear on your suspension, becaus eof the added leverage.I dont know if i would trust spacers, you might be better off to get offset wheels for that couple inches or whatever. The suspension area is not a good place to skimp out on, me personaly i would rather keep it stock then not put the right stuff on. thats just my 2 cents man but whatever works for you might not work for another.take care
