Default Help with Vinson

Guys, Please Help

I'm in the middle of hunting season down here and use my Vinson 3-4 times a week, so here's the situation. I got on my Vinson and when I Started it I notice some lights blinking on the display, when I tried to shift into reverse I could not, In fact the only thing that it would do is go from the park position and then down and over to where the normal neutral is, but that was actually high. I was able to roll it off the trailer and then go in high where I needed to, but I'd like to fix this ASAP and if it's something I can do myself I'd like too.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Kevin

Sounds like the linkage need adjusting.

Do a search and you might find some good info on how to fix it.

Why did you go with a supertrapp? how loud is it over stock as far as noise level, and did you notice any gains in power? if you want ,what was the price. Thank you!

Maybe inspect the shifting fork and its rack-and-pinion for wear and/or damage. Inspect the groove of the shifting sleeve.

BlueOne, I went with the SuperTrapp because I found one cheap that had been mounted but not used (just alittle scratched). I paid something like $150 for it through a online dealers scratch and dent listing.

It is louder then stock but not any worse then any other aftermarket exhaust.

The power gains I got from my Mods were impressive and well worth the extra money. I noticed a major improvement in the throttle response and the power lag is not nearly as noticeable under heavy load like it was when stock.

Just an update,

Easy fix for now. I just manually moved the mechanism around and it freed up. I guess maybe some junk got under the protective sleeve somewhere. Anyway, fixed for now.
