King Quad, help experiencing vibrations????
First ride today, and I can not believe that this quad is normal with all this vibration you can feel on the grips, foot board and seat. Tends to go away pass 30 mph. Any one has had this kind of feeling. Its got 3-4 times more vibration than my Vinson.

Were u in high or low gear w/ this vibration? In high gear the vibration seems normal for such a large one cylinder. in my opinion it doesn't vibrate as much as my friends brute force. but low gear is another story, especially in thick mud. It vibrates a lot worse, but its a one cylinder. I've never ridden a vinson but remember it is 200cc larger and an auto. but i don't know if that would have nething to do w/ it so there could be a problem w/ your king.

All the reviews were mentionning how smooth the engine was with the counter weights etc and that there was literally no vibration. In fact I was in high gear, the ride is very uncomfortable at low speed.
It is going to the dealer tonight, and if this is normal, it will stay there. I will keep you posted.

Well I am just coming back from my dealer and drove another KQ and it is exactly the same, vibration below 20 mph, yes worst than my Vinson, I own both and me and my girl friend can tell the difference. It gets very smooth passed the 25-30 mph. Looks like it is their nature, but I am nevertheless disapointed, I should have tested the demo unit more thouroughly before purchasing, I trusted the reviews. Most likely, I had very high expectations for a big bore single cylinder. I guess you do not really notice if you ride rapidly, but in snow or tight areas when you drive slowly, you can feel the vibration throughout the entire machine. Looks like for our type of driving, we should have bought a different model. Anyway, time will tell, but at the moment I am predicting a twin EFI next autumn and will rent for an entire weekend before buying any other quad.
