My 04 vinson's engine seems kinda noisy hard to explain but it just seems that it sounds like a rattle or something when at part throttle, when I took it in for the first service the dealer said it was normal, any body have any input?

no, they said the valves were perfect, they started another suzuki up for me and it sounded the same, oh well, it still runs great. gues I need to put a pipe on it and then I won't have to listen to just the engine.

 

I have a 2005 and the noise is driving me crazy. I have the noise at low speed thru 2nd & 3rd, also my coolant fan runs at low speed, How about yours.

 

My 03 Vinson is pretty quiet.

 

I htink some of the noise has to do with the intake and how it sounds when puling in air, but I'm not certain. I know that it doesn't hurt the performance any, it just seems kind of annoying

 

I agree with Path, sounds like intake. The noise is a little annoying but it runs fine. The brakes do make a little noise from time to time but not real loud or anything.
