I'm looking into a new utility and the KQ seems like a good buy. However, browsing thru some of the forums I've read some posts about a flaw in the reverse mechanism. Can anyone elighten me on how serious of a problem this is? Is it something that fails under an extreme situation or can it happen anytime you use reverse? I've found several dealerships that are selling this quad for $1000+ under retail and I'm interested in it, but I don't want a lemon either. Any info appreciated.

 

..I paid $6400.00 tax license extra....maybe alot cheaper soon..because of the widespread problems...BTW.. I've heard price quotes of up to $2500.00 for reverse repairs IF out of warranty... check the horror storys here..
