Default reed spacer yes or no?

I know it adds Mid and Upper RPM power, but it takes away some low end power.

do you know if it goes against the cylinder first, spacing the reeds out further? or the other way?

i found the info to clear this up. put the spacer on first for low end performance and put it between the cage and intake manifold for upper end performance..

i have one on my 87 LT250R and it livened up the bottom end, they work pretty good, also they go in between the intake and the reed cage not between the reed cage and the boot. it is meant to bring the reed out of the jug more.
