Hey I was wondering what you guys think is the best suspenson set up like a arms and shocks and tie rods for the Z400. Prive does not matter because id rather have comfort and reliabilty. I love the looks of elka shocks. And I know the Yoshimura is soposally the best pipe you can get for the Z but what is the best overall pipe for it? Like mostly racing trail riding and just having fun? And what would you guys sugest for swingarm and axel? thanks

 

Im not sure on the suspension, But a Full Yoshimura is the best exhaust you can get for the Z400

 

The very best suspension (price not a factor) is probably gonna be Elka. I've never ridden on them but i do have a lot of time on Custom Axis and those are also very nice.

 

yea what about the full system E series..I have been thinking about just buying the header for it. Or what about the new Carbon Fiber Pro Series from WB? Thnks for the info about the elkas I really wnat them but what would make it better when it comes to a arms? If I have a 165 main jet for my slip-on would I need to change it for the full system?

 

dirt wheels mag did a exhaust shoot out and i think the CT racing exhaust system won.

 

The best set up is roll design a-arms,swingarm with elka shocks. Yoshimura is the best exhaust. There are many good axle's like lonestar, rpm, durablue

 

whats wrong with the hmf full exaust ya its a lil loud but u can get it in diff colors to match ur quad nice

 

HMF is also a very good exhaust, DirtWheels tested the White Brothers Carbon Pro on a 450R and said they liked it a lot. Like dvxracer said the roll design a-arms and swingarm are the best out there. You probably would need to mess with your jetting a little.
