Thank You all for your sugestions. This is what I have done this weekend. I went down to see a local racing engine shop. I had them cut me a copper gasket for the lower, but I had them block the holes for the power valve. I had them also machine a reed spacer 14mm thick out of aluminum. Overall it cost me $48 in labor and materials. I can say I cannot tell a bit of difference in the bottem end on power, but this 500 screams when it is "on the pipe" now [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]. I will let people know how long the copper gasket lasts. I will pull the jug after 10 hours to see.
