Was riding my 03' Z400. Snow and ice on the ground, shifted into reverse and I guess for some reason the switch got stuck and when i was riding later in what i thought was second gear and maybe it was first and it shifted into reverse going in a forward motion and now it wont stay in reverse so I think i could have damaged the transmission. Anybody else ever encountered this?

Well, to answer your question, no, I haven't had a similiar problem.

Doesn't sound right. Reverse is down from 1st, while twisting the reverse ****. Don't understand, how could you be riding "later" and then, it goes into reverse, when you think your in second[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img] Is the reverse **** stuck in the "twisted" position? maybe the cable is sticking or broke. If not, looks like I'll also learn from this thread[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]
