I am wondering if anyone has tried a power commander for their 700 KQ, and if so does it increase performance and will it hold up to deep mud riding and getting wet? Also, I am wondering if anyone has a decent looking front bumper for the KQ? I found one at ATV Venture out of Canada and they show a picture of it but it is not on a machine. It looks good in the picture but without seeing it on a machine you never know. If anyone has this bumper or any other brand on their KQ could you post a picture of it? Also wondering if anyone knows when Warn will have a bumper available?

 

I have not put a power comander in yet, but that is the next thing. I have a bumper, its the real suzuki one. I like it.

 

Is the power commander avialiable and if so what kind of gains do they claim?? Where do you get one??

 

Check out www.dobeckperformance.com they have a TPI box for the King Quad and they claim a RWHP increase of 5 horse fom 30 RWHP to 35 RWHP they actually have done dyno's. this is a big gain when you look at the percentages thats almost a 15% increase in horsepower not to bad for $250.00 IMO. Also to all of those Polaris fans check out the horsepower difference in the KQ700 vs EFI700 Sportsman.

 

Muddauber58, Do you remember which website you saw the ATVenture bumper on the KQ?

 

i ordered the front and rear bumpers from atventure yesterday.the pictures on the site just showed the bumpers laying against a wall so i called the 1-888 # to ask some ?s.the man i talked to was great. explained how and where to mount.i like that the finish is powder coat crinkle to match stock racks,half the price of suzuki after market bumpers and the guy says that the rear bumper allows full access to rear storage box which ive heard is an issue with suzuki bumper.he emailed me new pictures of bumpers mounted on kq which i assume will soon be on their site.should be here about 04/21/05. will reply after mounting.
