91CavGT-

So with the mods you've seen 48mph or before making the mods? I don't have a speedo on my fourwheeler but Id say mine runs about that now. Im looking to make it faster. I realize that this isn't a sport fourwheeler nor do I expect it to be but to spend $300+ for a little bit of hp/torque doesn't seem worth while.

Yeah, I too can keep up with most fourwheelers in the trails but its the open areas Id like to improve on. Would it be crazy to think I could get it running around the 60-70mph range? If its possible, what would it take?

The 48 mph was after the mods, but keep in mind that I need to get the valves adjusted as I can tell it's not got the top end power that it did right after I got it. After I get the jet kit tuned in better as well as the valves adjusted, I'll expect to see around 50-55 mph.

Our quads don't have enough power or gearing to allow 60-70 mph. Not only that, but with how short and light our quads are I wouldn't want to go that fast.

If you insisted on going that fast, get some 25" tires and add nitrous. That would give you the gearing and the power to hit 60-70 mph.

But as I said, the money I spent to the mods on my quad were well worth the money spent!!
