thinkin about buying a wiseco crank...any1 have 1 and how much ov a diff does it make>?my friend said it would make the motor run crisp and no vibration>?

 

i just had a new crank put in mine with all new bearings and seals. what a differance! i couldn't believe i rode it before i had it rebuilt.

 

unless your present crank is damaged or not working properly,or the main seals are bad,you probably wont noticed a big diference in putting in a wiseco crank,as a matter of fact,some people prefer the stockers to wiseco. most people would think the crank makes a huge diference because most of the time the top end is redone when the crank is replac---as it is kinda a good idea to rebuild the top or at least re ring it while its all off. i went from stock crank to wiseco hot rod to stock again and cant really tell a diference. but the wiseco can be bought for about 160 from ebay brand new.and the stocker is rediculousy exspensive ,like 3-400 bucks for a new one. unless your buying a performance racing crank or something i wouldnt expect a huge diference

I got a new Wiseco crank off of ebay for $152. They are listed on there occasionally so just keep your eyes open.

 

seat of the pants feels to me that my stock crank was better. i went back to it and sold my hot rod and crank..

 

Send your stocker to Crankworks in Az, they do great work for not much $$$$
