quadsport lt230 help
#1
I just recently purchased a lt230 for 20 Bucks.... the frame and rims are in good shape.. the tires hold air.. but it has some serious motor problems.. and no plastics. so on so forth. i want to try and rebuild it, but at a resonable price. Im looking for a place to pick up some parts for it and a rebuild kit. any help would be appreciated. Im also looking for info on reliability and suspension.
thanks.

eBay is your best bet for cheap parts..I bought my '87 sport for $400 and got almost everything on it off of eBay WAY CHEAPER than my local dealers or online dealers.
When you search for parts on eBay use lt230, lt 230, lt230s, 230s, quadsport & quad sport as keywords..that always seems to bring me the most results

I agree. If it doesn't say, "guaranteed running" I'd stay away. I got burned once. The 230's appear to have pretty go motors once you tune them up good although I have no hours on mine yet because I'm still getting it ready for riding season.

Ive been restoring an 87 230 Quadsport for the past three years. Be carful with Ebay, check the feedback of the seller first. Send me a list of what you plan to fix/replace and I should be able to give you a good idea where to start.
