Default Eiger carb has 2 main jets??

I was just looking at an exploded view of the Eiger carb and it shows 2 main jets? One is a #122, the other #55. Both listed as "Jet, Main". Anybody know why? I want to go up on my main and pilot jets. The norm seems to be to change the #122 main jet. Any advantage / disadvantage to changing the #55 jet?

Thanks for any information!

The one thats called #11, in the pic is a starter jet. When you pull the choke on, it pulls a plunger out of a passage and then gas can flow thru the jet. Most likely its gonna be fine as is...especially if you go bigger on the pilot jet.
If you go here,
http://www.sudco.com/keihinjets.html
and look at the starter jet at the bottom of the page, youll see it looks just like a main jet, except the hole in the middle is much smaller.
Is the motor all stock?

Default Eiger carb has 2 main jets??

Hello Hondabuster, thanks for the reply.

Motor is stock except for a Noss Machine filter adapter and UNI filter. Supposed to be for a Z400 but I adapted the Eiger airbox to fit it. Motor always did run a bit lean. With the uni filter it got very lean. Even when fully warmed up it wouldn't idle without 1/2 choke. And was very doggy. Sluggish acceleration and top speed was down to about 40mph. I turned the mix screw out 3.5 turns and it idled, but of course was still very sluggish. After removing the air filter and covering the intake half way with duct tape performance and top end returned. Plug insulator was snow white though.

My plan is to go up a little on the pilot so I can turn in the mix screw a bit. And go bigger on the main to get performance back and get the plug to a more normal color.

Thanks for the help and the link!
