Who has this KING QUAD 5 YEAR warranty?

Who has this KING QUAD 5 YEAR warranty?
My dealer has told me if the serial number on the ECM ends in 01 or 00 with a white dot on top, this means the unit has been changed is this true? It sounds fishy to me since my VIN is lower than 5211 mine is 5210.
