Kingquad-.VR.-Kingquad

This is a new one i am shure!
the new fuel injected kingquad 700 against the old 280cc air/oil cooled kingquad?
ok they both weight exactly the same dry, so they hook up, king 300 in supper low front end locked up!
the king 700 low range front end locked up, both quads have the exactly same rider weight so lets say ther both @ 762 lbs with rider. and they both have the same tred on the tires! so who will win in the tug-o-war of the kings?

That depends - If you chain them nose to nose and have them tug away in reverse I think the old KQ may outlast the new.
However, even though the old KQ was an absolute pulling beast in super-low range lock I think the new KQ will be able to drag it around. The old KQ uses low, low gearing to make up for it's lack of torque and horsepower. With an engine 2-1/2 times the size I think the new KQ will get more power to the wheels in low range than the old KQ can do with super-low.

i think it would be a dead heat! i think the only way one would win is if one of them blows the cv's. or main drive shaft or wate the belt would burn up on the new one! so i guess the old one wins! yay

Man I got to get some of the stuff you guys are smoking there is no way a low geared quad with a third the power is going to pull a new king quad around. The new IRS would do a much better job of turning that weight into traction than an old king. I know from your sigs that a lot of you own an old king quad and from what I have seen they are amazing quads with lots of torgue in super low. I just dont think there is any way that the old machine would even come close to the new one in towing power. I know I am biased owning a new king but I think I am looking at this logicly.

the articat is not all the same! the old king is supper powerfull, any one who knows the law of physics knows that hp meens nothing! you can take a 1000hp truck that weights 3000lbs and hook it to 1 hp truck
1000hp will have a higher top speed but the one hp motore with the right gears may only go .009 mph but it will pull that 1000hp truck likes it's not even there!
oh just rememberd! look @ a winch, they are only 1 hjp and they pull 4000 lbs? so comone hp is not evrything it's the gears! just look @ the raptor reverse falt? it is one of the most powerfull quads but the gearing was rong and it just f-ed the hole thing up!
