I have 27" itp 589's on the stock rims, excellent package. works great in the mud and on dry roads. no problem with loss of power at all and they throw the mud pretty nice as well.

i decided to go with maxxis bighorns stock size on maxxis 4x4 rims. I think i will notice a difference over the stock dunflops.

I was finally able to test out the bighorns and I am more than impressed. I beat the crap out of these tires on this ride and they look none the worse. No need to worry about flats with these, 26 miles of sharp rocks that would have tore my mudlites a new one. I thought the mudlites road pretty good on the trails, now I know better. The bighorns are much more stable at speed and were easier to break loose on the corners = fun.
I mounted them on the stock rims painted black, pic address is in the sig. if interested.

I put 26 Mudlites on mine with itp type 6 rims. They are great but they do rob you on power big time. I didnt realize how much power they robb untill i recently put the stock tires back on. My machine ,with stock tires will wheelie right up in high gear and low gear is flip right over. With the 26 mudlites... i can only wheelie up in low gear on pavement. Now in muddy conditions or snow ill run the mudlites... But for dry conditions ill stick with the stockers untill i can get a set of stock size ATR's. Good luck.

What about 25" Mud Lite XL's. With the XL you get the same tread depth as 26 inch tires, yet they are stock size, so you dont have the power loss.
