Default KING QUAD HESITATION

I do have to say that when I put EFI on my Jeep (yeah, I know, not a quad but its relevant... read on) my throttle response went from crap to almost clairvoyant. It's as though I just had to THINK about touching the gas and I'd blurp the throttle, IMMEDIATELY throwing my head back. On a bumpy trail, that's really annoying. Talk to a TJ owner that four-wheels and ask them how they hold their foot when they're driving on rocks. A couple of drivers that I talked to did the same thing that I had to figure out for myself; brace the side of their foot against the 'tunnel' on the floor so you didn't end up in the old "bucking bronco" routine where your passengers teeth get broken out on the oh **** bar. I could imagine that EFI on a quad with as much HP as the KQ might be a little dangerous to someone who's never ridden before and immediately goes out to conquer the toughest trail they can find.
I bet there's actually some merit to the conspiracy theory that Suzuki put that hesitation in on purpose.
