Default Retainers for fenders

Anyone know a good place to buy the plastic retainers that hold on the fenders on a 05 Eiger? There are two different types, one on the outside and another inside the fender wells. Have already lost one and I am sure more will come loose as time goes by. Not really impressed with this system and it doesn't look to dependable. Anyone else had trouble with them or have a better idea? Thought I'd check here before hitting the dealership.

The dealership has them pretty cheap. I had to replace a few of mine after a roll-over. So far mine have all done what they are meant to do. They pop out or break instead of breaking the rest of your plastic.

Is there a way to remove those fasteners without breaking them? It looks like I should be able to pull up on the center thing and then the whole thing will pop out, but I don't want to break it since it'll be a while till i can get over to the dealership. Thanks.

There's two types that I've seen. The ones on the outer fenders and floorboards have a rather large center section w/ two notches cut out so you can get in w/ a flat head screwdriver and pry them out. For these you just have to pry out the center section as far as possible and then it will pull out. The other type of fastener has a perfectly smooth face w/ a center section the size of a standard screwdriver shaft. You want to shove that center pin in 5mm or so down, then just place a flat head screwdrive under it and pry up. Careful as you can shove the pin completely through. It doesn't hurt it thought, just a bitch trying to find the pin. You can also put some pressure on the two body pieces w/ the pin released and it should pop loose, this applies to both types.

The first type you mention is what i was trying to remove. I figured that's how it worked, but I knew soon as i tried to do it, i'd break it. Thanks for the info!
