Z450 coming this summer!!!

motox said it best. Of course its not the stock Z, but the current quad raced by Gust and Jones is still winning races. Iobviouslly if the current Z is winning races, suzuki wouldnt waste their time putting out anotther model thats equal to what they have now. yeah stock for stock the yfz is better, but if a hopped up z400 can beat a yfz on the track, then the z450 will do the same in a bigger way.

I'd think some of those guys could win regardless of WHAT machine they are on!

The 450 with EFI and kickstart isn't happening.
If it were EFI, it would have all the electricals of an electric start model other than the starter motor itself anyway....so what't the real weight difference there???
You can't have EFI without a battery to power the fuel pump and initialize the ECU. Try push starting an ATK with a dead battery.....it will never start.
Ask the GasGas 450 guys who have the useless kickstarter as a backup in case of battery failure.

I could see the kick-only setup, and before I did some homework, I found that indeed you can have EFI on a kicker. My gut however, tells me that it would be a huge leap for someone to give a quad EFI and not their marquee motorcycle the same advantage. That's the part that doesn't make sense to me.

Im doubting it will have EFI. I really don't think it will have EFI with a kicker.
The only reason I think it could have EFI and the RMZ 450 not have one, is because they might be thinking the consumers will see an EFI sticker on it, and go ewww, I want that because it has EFI. And some might want EFI just so they don't have to deal with jetting issues. Quad guys typically aren't as mechanically sound as dirtbike guys. Where as I havn't heard no one really wanting EFI at the dirtbike scenes, at least the ones I have been at.

It'll compete well, like some of u posted theres already 400's in the 450 class and lots of the shootouts ive read said many ppl perfer the Z for handling and stability verses the YFZ and TRX and that the only downfall is the power and i think this new 450 will be at the top of its game when its revealed
