Eiger killing

I even went with a 135 jet, and it still wasn't too rich. It did make a big difference. Then, when I went to a 36mm carb, I put my 135 jet in THAT, and my Eiger kicks butt.
I still need to do something about the air intake tube from the air box though. Seems like a pretty tight fit in there with the bigger carb. I think a new tube with a smooth wall will increase air flow.

i just recleaned everything and the filter...and the machine will still cut out and die after i go off a small jump or hit a little bump...Mucky on here is having the same problem on his Z400 so i have no clue whats up with it

Hey, i had the same problem. I fixed mine by dumping out all the gas and cleaning out the gas tank. I found a good bit of crap in there and it was clogging the in-tank filter. After i did this, i filled up with 93 octane and it's been fine since then

ok it kept happening on the trail today..took it apart and there is a grass seed stuck in the main....how in the heck did it get in there...it's pretty anoying to have to clean the carb everyday

It is highly unlikely the grass seed came thru the filter. All the carb passages, from the venturi to the float bowl, are much smaller than the main jet. If it gets stuck in the main....how could it get by the smaller openings?
It had to come in either the vent opening of the carb, or in with the gas.
