Ive got some made up and have my buddy coming over this weekend to set me up so I can sell on ebay. Im sure its easy to do but he's been doing it along time and Id hate to set something up wrong.
As far as over heating goes, I have never had any problems I do drill some small holes in them and if you wanted to drill some more you could. All of the over heating problems Ive heard about has to do with the rad. getting clogged with mud, I dont do alot of mud riding (usually just up to the fenders) but they seem too help keep the rad. from getting to plugged up. Another guy even suggested they might help to funnel air through the rad. I dont know for sure all I can tell you is my rad. stays pretty clean and I have never overheated or had the temp light come on. I went for a ride the other day, the temp was in the mid 90's and I didnt have a problem. Hope this helps.
Ill have them up Sunday evening. Thanks for all the interest. Burke Watkins.
I do remember you Eigerslider, how have you been? Nothing like getting a new quad, especially one with a good reverse and a garage to store it in. Your going to love the King.

Been doing well. Just got moved in yesterday and today and will now spend the next month unpacking! Pick up the KQ this Thursday, just in time for a long weekend - Canada Day July 1st. Like the 4th of July with anemic Fireworks. I have to say there is nothing like an American Fireworks show! Once I get her from the dealer I will take a few photos before I get her all messed up and post em. Once you get setup on ebay I will buy a set of those guards too!

Allright guys I am finally set up on ebay and able to sell them. Just do a search for king quad radiator guard and you should find it easy. Feel free to ask me any questions you might have. Burke

Burke,

I looked at the picture of the guards, and have a question. I have a winch mounted with the wiring running past the radiator on the right side, and going into the tube (which is higher that yours pictured). I put some rubber hose over the wiring where it passes over the radiator for protection.

Do you think the quards will fit with the cables and hose?

The space between the guard and the radiator is 2 inches at the bottom and 1 inch at the top. The guard is only 1/8" thick and the top is right against the plastic housing for the lights. Does the hose go up between this housing and the radiator? If it does, I guess the only question is if you can slide an 1/8th inch piece of aluminium up there also. Hope I answered your question. If I have not I can measure any thing else you may need. Take care.
